World Habitat Day celebrations in Indonesia
 
Dates: 05 October 2009
Location: Palembang, Indonesia
This year Indonesia will celebrate the World Habitat Day in Palembang, South Sumatera.
The event that follows the theme: Planning Our Urban Future will consist of a Fun Bike and Boat Festival on October 4th and opening ceremony of a water plant and Kasnariansyah rental apartment, an exhibition participated by housing and urban development stakeholders, and a site visit to 3/4 Ulu and teacher's housing complex in Jakabaring. An informal discussion will be held in the afternoon on the future of Indonesian cities.
